The Bently Nevada TACH100-01 is a highly reliable, dual-channel, independent data output tachometer system. It is mainly used for speed measurement, overspeed protection and zero-speed monitoring of critical rotating machinery (e.g., steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, etc.).
Core Functions and Features
Independent dual-channel design:
This is its most central feature. The system provides two completely electrically isolated RPM measurement channels.
Each channel has independent sensor inputs, signal processing circuitry and outputs.
Benefits: Provides redundancy and greatly improves system reliability. If one channel fails (e.g. sensor failure, wiring problems, module failure), the other channel can still operate independently and uninterruptedly, ensuring that critical tacho protection functions are not lost, and meeting high safety and availability requirements (e.g. redundancy of critical protection circuits as required by standards such as API 670).
